Penthouse Photoshoot by Kome Parnell II

A few finished images to share from our shoot shot by Kome Parnell. I adore the clean cut final result and can't wait for the next! Kome is the best and we always have a blast together; last week I watched her create the craziest huge pendant at Fusion Glass Co...Kome is truly creative in every way.
Thanks again to Stephanie JL for modeling and Amy Richardson for hair and makeup design!

Penthouse Photoshoot by Kome Parnell

Yesterday I had the privilege of styling a shoot for Kome Parnell. I always love working with Kome, as she is one of the most fun people ever. Sharing with us an incredible empty loft space overlooking the harbor and Little Italy, Kome also shared some of the art hidden on other floors of the building.
The beautifully elvish waif Stephanie JL was an amazing model, while the incredibly talented Amy Richardson worked some awesomely mod hair and makeup.
Enjoy some behind the scenes shots and a super fun picframe from the always insanely prompt Kome!

Fall Photos by Emily James

Last weekend, I enjoyed a delightful photo shoot with my dear friend Emily James. Always an amazing photographer, Emily is brilliant at capturing the most perfect angle and emotion in each image. One of the bonuses about being close with her is that she constantly carries 3 cameras, knows your angles an occasionally surprises you with a shot of yourself that looks like an Avedon.
Emily shared one of her favorite spots with us, which featured lovely afternoon-lit woods, two amazing abandoned bridges, and a building addressed 666. There is plenty more to say about the area but those are my favored talking points.
With the incredibly beautiful goddess of a model Stephanie Rayline, and flawless hair and makeup by Jennifer Kolhagen, the shoot went great! As usual, I forgot to sneak shots of all the outfits, but enjoy these peaks and stay tuned for the official ones.

Music Video Monday with Little Hurricane

Such a wild week! So behind on posts...
Beyond excited to share a brand new music video from Little Hurricane. Filmed during their first residency at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, "Crocodile Tears" was filmed as the official music video for upcoming indie film "200,000 Dirty" (starring Coolio! How coolio!).
Little Hurricane wrote this song for the official film score, and featured it on their debut album "Homewrecker".  "200,000 Dirty" was written, directed and produced by Timothy L. Anderson, who also directed the music video. I had a brief opportunity to meet the dedicated young triple threat, and found him to be entirely fascinating.
Be sure to check out Little Hurricane's impressive tour schedule, and enjoy the video!

Music Monday with Little Hurricane

Check out Little Hurricane's adorable new acoustic music video made by Pac Sun Music in Laguna Beach, CA. Still obsessing daily over their debut album, I am excited to boast that miss CC has added the harmonica to her repertoire of mastered instruments!
If you missed them over the weekend at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, you are in luck! They will be travelling fools all over this great nation in the fall. Between touring with The Manchester Orchestra, touring again with Pac Sun, performing at San Diego Music Thing & Austin City Limits, and surprising fans with sprinkled performance dates in between destinations-get out there and see that Little Hurricane.

Portraits by Sarah Hadaway Seyler

In our midst at the video premiere for Phaero's Queen of the Nile (Michael Deakers' Remix) was brilliant portait photographer Sarah Hadaway Seyler. Specializing in maternity and bridal portraiture, she captures sweet moments and dear personalities on (gasp) a classic film camera. It's been literally years since anyone has handed me a roll of developed images, which makes it all the more exciting! Enjoy some lovely character shots of the close friends and early arrivals at the premiere. Make sure to contact the beautiful and talented Sarah for all of your photographic needs (digital included).
